【關於有機棉】

One third of the world’s pesticides are used on cotton crops alone. These chemicals are absorbed into the cotton plant, the air, the soil, the water and eventually, our bodies.

These harmful toxins also make their way back into our food chain - the cotton seeds are used to feed the cattle we get our milk and beef from, and also used to make cotton seed oil, a cornerstone of the processed foods most families eat every day.

想栽種有機棉，耕地必須先停止使用化學肥料、農藥，經過三年的土壤淨化，才能栽培出純淨、健康的棉花。
栽種過程採用自然耕作方式，除了使用天然有機肥料，還利用瓢蟲、蜻蜓等昆蟲做生物防治(防止害蟲)，取代傳統的殺蟲劑。
棉花從採收到原料加工，都經過嚴格把關，最後才能符合有機棉驗證標準。
